In this Library Simon designed and fitted open drawers for CDs in the cupboard under with the TV and book cases above.

This small Library, shown in the three images above,  I designed and had fitted into the first floor room of a London house. It covers the three main walls of the room, having a recess for a sofa, running over the door and into both the chimney breast alcoves.  Lining the room with the built in bookcases to make a very comfortable and intimate library. The whole illustrate my ability to design built in furniture for my client.

My design for a sofa recess, under and around these white book cases, was with side lights and over lights incorporated into my design but fitted by the customer’s own electrician after installation.

These  alcoves with the built in book cases, were designed by me to be fitted furniture as  part of the library which included a desk area above for a home office or study in a London Town house.

This Library was custom designed by Simon to include a home office or study area with filing drawers and side drawers by the kneehole with a sliding drawer over the knee hole for the key board or storage as required.

I designed this small  Library as the “Den” where the family could watch TV and relax.  It was used both for TV and Computer work (in the left hand side with filing in the cupboard which was adapted for working) for their Home Office.

These  images of my designs for these built in book cases, all as fitted furniture, makes full use of the alcove spaces and takes into account the difficulties arising with the extra long mantle shelf clearly illustrated  in the top two illustrations.
