In this image Simon Spencer shows his design for an extensive library with built in book cases, broken pediments, urns, panelled works, false doors (behind the desk for effect), shallow cupboards below, which looked well with the bookcases above returning down the walls and to include radiator cases; all as required by the client. The upper pilasters were fluted with a decorative cornice and the lower pilasters rebated. The doors were panelled with traditional recessed central panels and side ogee mouldings.

		Simon Spencer designed this Gentleman’s Study as his home office, in an annex to the principle room in a London town house. His design included, an additional kneehole work area in the window, a radiator case behind the desk, a number of filing drawers, occasional drawers and shallow paper drawers. It was designed with a decorative cornice, fluted pilasters and panelled doors and drawers with built in book shelves above.

	This tiny study that Simon Spencer designed as a home office and built in to an awkward recess in a London lower ground floor flat. His design included filing drawers, cupboards and the built in corner bookcases as well as a “table” desk work area to harmonize with the main concept. As always, it was all made in mdf and painted after installation by the customer.

	A Gentleman’s study or home office from which he occasionally worked. Simon Spencer designed to provide upper filing storage behind cupboard doors, lower filing drawers, adequate built in bookshelves (they also run this side of the window to the right) and two working desk areas with knee holes (the other in front of the window to the right).
