PANELLING AND BOOKCASES - DETAILS 23

Home

These images show the different effect that the light has upon the polished pine.  the first three are in natural day light reflecting off the carpet and the bottom image has a muted flash.  Again these are illustarations of the framed up pine doors with fielded panels and rebated pilasters which have been hung on traditional plain drawn brass butts (hinges).  The carpet was measured and fitted with sympathetic boarder to suit the bookcases and cupboards.  The entrance door and it’s architrave, to the left, were painted in a wood grain finish to match the pine joinery Simon Spencer designed.
