This library was designed by Simon Spencer Designs (see design on Examples Designs Page Ref 3325) and manufactured by an independent joinery firm of our recommendation.  It was later painted by the client’s own decorators.  The following images show the room as it was before our design for the new library was installed and then after it had been manufactured and installed.  As you can see the room is not quite yet finished and we hope that we may be able to bring these images up to date when the decorations etc. have been completed.

BEFORE SIMON SPENCER’S DESIGN FOR THE LIBRARY WAS FITTED

This library incorporated a newly designed radiator case to house the replacement radiator we suggested to allow for continuity throughout the design for the waist-top height moulding, the panel work behind the opened door with the book cases running over it, the panel works behind the sofa to match the that behind the door and down the sides of the bookcases, the removal of the double folding doors to bring the whole library into one continuous run around the room the and replacement of the light switch at the entrance from the passage which was incorporated into the panel running down the side of the bookcase.
